This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on local workforce development while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and enhancing long-term value generation.

Role Overview

  • Coordinate implementation of approved Workforce Development activities aligned with national content commitments and project workforce requirements.
  • Support workforce capability assessments and identification of skills gaps across operations and contractors.
  • Facilitate delivery of technical and vocational training programs through accredited providers and internal frameworks.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, completion rates, demographic and competency outcomes against defined KPIs.
  • Support approved engagement with government bodies, regulators, and national training institutions on workforce development initiatives.
  • Maintain effective relationships with contractors to ensure alignment with local workforce and training obligations.
  • Contribute to national content reporting and communication of workforce achievements.
  • Promote local workforce participation in line with company and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain accurate national content, workforce, and training data in company systems.
  • Analyse workforce metrics to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Prepare periodic reports for internal governance, partners, regulatory authorities, and tracking EPC compliance.
  • Coordinate execution of workforce initiatives, including training schedules, logistics, EPC and contractor participation.
  • Track progress against workforce and national content targets, identifying gaps and risks.
  • Support continuous improvement of workforce programs through data insights and stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure timely delivery of commitments within scope, budget, and compliance requirements.
  • Support compliance with national content legislation, project agreements, and company policies.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for workforce development activities.
  • Contribute to internal and external audits related to workforce and training obligations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Workforce Development: Proven experience in implementing structured workforce plans in a project or operations environment.
  • Training Coordination: Strong background in coordinating training programs and assessing workforce capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience working with government bodies, contractors, and educational institutions.
  • Data Management: Demonstrated capability in managing, analyzing, and reporting data effectively.
  • National Content Frameworks: Working knowledge of national content/local content frameworks.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in workforce development, training coordination, or HR programs within the oil & gas, LNG, or mining sectors.
