Position Overview

Role Context
This opportunity sits within the oil and gas industry and supports project engineering activities in a technically demanding environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets in collaboration with the project manager and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Carry out technical evaluations, feasibility studies and risk assessments to support project decisions.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and support corrective actions to maintain milestones.
- Review technical documentation, including specifications and reports, to support project execution.
- Support compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to the project team across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in project engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and organisational ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
