About the Role
Our client is seeking a Construction Engineer to coordinate construction activities across project and site environments. This role ensures effective stakeholder communication and that all construction activities are executed in compliance with HSSE, quality standards, and project schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct constructability reviews and provide inputs to engineering to optimize project execution
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed
- Identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce non-productive time
- Coordinate interfaces between disciplines, ensuring alignment and resolution of construction issues
- Monitor construction progress and ensure activities remain aligned with project schedule and milestones
- Track and follow up on construction activities and progress to meet delivery timelines
- Capture and implement lessons learned, assessing impacts across project systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with HSSE policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Good knowledge of construction principles, processes, and HSSE regulations
- Proven track record of successful project execution in complex environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
