Job Summary
The Construction Piping Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all construction activities related to the piping discipline, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders. The role ensures construction and commissioning activities are executed in compliance with project HSSE, Quality, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and ensure that all piping construction and commissioning activities are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and project schedules.
2. Ensure full compliance with HSSE and Quality standards, regulations, and procedures throughout all site activities.
3. Supervise daily piping discipline operations on site, including workforce coordination, material handling, and equipment utilization.
4. Ensure site teams are working with the latest approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
5. Enforce HSSE policies and promote a strong safety culture across all construction activities.
6. Coordinate with construction teams, project management, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, constraints, and conflicts.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to site teams to ensure smooth execution, integration, and handover of piping systems.
8. Implement and manage changes to construction scope or execution plans, including assessment of impacts on schedule, cost, and quality.
9. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management, highlighting key achievements, risks, challenges, and recommended actions.
Required Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• CSWIP 3.1, IWI (IIW-S-IIS), AWS QC1, or CWI certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction and commissioning processes in Oil & Gas, offshore, or industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction plans.
• Exposure to offshore topsides, modularized facilities, or fabrication yard environments is an advantage.
• FSO/FPSO?related project experience is a plus.
