Purpose
The ECOM Database Coordintor provides support for engineering and operations management (ECOM) database systems, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining data integrity in the Oil & Gas industry
Responsibilities
- You monitor ECOM database systems, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- You perform routine maintenance, including backups, updates, and performance optimization, ensuring database reliability.
- You assist users with database access, resolving queries, and delivering technical support for operational needs.
- You troubleshoot and resolve database errors, collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to address system challenges.
- You maintain and update database documentation, including configurations and troubleshooting guides.
- You support database integration efforts, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation with other systems.
Education
At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in database support or administration, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Familiarity with database systems.
