About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, the role is responsible for designing and engineering reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions that support project execution and the organization's operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, execution of engineering work, and optimization of designs within the scope of project specifications, in compliance with international codes, company standards, industry standards, and applicable regulations (IEC, IEEE, Classification Society requirements, and local regulations).
- Prepare electrical engineering deliverables including: Design Philosophies, Technical Specifications, Datasheets, Engineering Reports, Calculations, and Technical Bid Evaluation Reports.
- Plan and complete assigned engineering activities and deliverables within agreed schedules while ensuring proper management of system interfaces.
- Ensure assigned scope of work is delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and project procedures.
- Apply relevant lessons learned and assess the impact of changes across project systems and interfaces.
- Work closely with Lead Engineers, Engineers, and Designers across multiple disciplines to determine project requirements, achieve required performance levels, and protect project interests.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders in accordance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or college.
Experience Required
- Good engineering knowledge of electrical systems.
- Knowledge of integrated database software such as AVEVA E&I will be an advantage.
