This opportunity is with a company operating within the energy sector and focused on project delivery for local contractors in China. The role is responsible for quantity surveying, cost remeasurement, variation claims, budgeting, and forecasting across a technical project environment, while supporting subcontract-related claims and estimation activities. This position offers exposure to cost management, site inspection, material take-off review, and multi-discipline project work across structural, piping, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and coating scopes.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of quantity surveying experience within the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in project cost monitoring from inception to completion, including cost projections, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience assessing scope changes and adjusting cost estimates and budgets accordingly
- Experience supporting variation claims, remeasurement activities, and subcontract-related claims and estimations
- Experience reviewing drawings and material take-offs across disciplines including structural, piping, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and coating works
- Experience carrying out site inspections to verify quantities and changes for remeasurement and variation claims
