About the Company

Our client is a leading energy organisation undergoing significant business transformation initiatives. They are seeking an experienced Advisor - Organisational Change Management (OCM) to support the successful delivery of change programs impacting people, processes, organisational structures, and technology systems.

About the Role

The Advisor - OCM will play a critical role in supporting organisational and enterprise-wide change initiatives. Working closely with project managers, business leaders, and stakeholders, you will develop and execute change management strategies that maximise employee adoption, minimise resistance, and support the realisation of project benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Change Management Delivery

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans for business transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and identify people-related risks and resistance points.
  • Create and execute communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and sustainment plans.
  • Ensure consistent application of organisational change management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Monitor and report on change readiness, stakeholder engagement, and project progress.

Project & Program Support

  • Partner with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Manage and coordinate assigned organisational change projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Maintain change management registers to provide visibility of enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of change activities across multiple operational sites and business functions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Coaching

  • Provide coaching and guidance to project managers, leaders, and supervisors during change implementation.
  • Support people leaders in managing change impacts within their teams.
  • Build strong relationships across HR, Corporate Affairs, Training, Technology, and Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Foster collaboration and stakeholder commitment to achieve successful change outcomes.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Undertake all activities in accordance with company health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
  • Promote safe work practices and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Formal change management training or certification, such as PROSCI or a Postgraduate Certificate in Change Management, will be highly regarded.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in organisational change management or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering change initiatives within complex organisational environments.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and frameworks, preferably PROSCI.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and project lifecycle phases.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, coaching, and influencing capabilities.
  • Proven ability to identify risks, solve problems, and drive adoption of change initiatives.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organisational transformation programs.
  • Previous hands-on change management experience is essential.
