The role also acts as a key automation interface between field operations, engineering, and the IOC, offering strong technical scope and operational impact. Key Responsibilities:
- Remotely monitor automation systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient production.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and help maintain operational continuity.
- Optimise automation system performance within the IOC environment.
- Act as the primary automation interface between field operations, engineering, and the IOC.
Must-Have Skills:
- Technical capability in automation systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
- Ability to work effectively within an IOC environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to interface with field operations and engineering teams.
- Focus on safety, reliability, and production efficiency in an operational setting.
- Familiarity with SCADA system
- Familiarity with PLC such as AllenBradley, Emerson, HMI, or Rockwell.
