  • Support and maintain current AWS infrastructure.
  • Work with L3 teams to escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Cloud Observability & Monitoring
    • Candidates must possess expert-level experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise observability solutions across cloud-native environments. This includes hands-on expertise with Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry, Fluent Bit, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail, as well as a strong understanding of distributed tracing, metrics pipelines, log aggregation, monitoring strategies, and operational insights.
  • AWS Platform Expertise
    • Strong operational and troubleshooting experience within AWS environments is essential, including:
      • Amazon EKS (Kubernetes)
      • Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL)
      • Amazon MSK (Kafka)
      • AWS Networking (VPCs, Security Groups, Route Tables, Connectivity)
      • AWS IAM (Roles, Policies, and Access Controls)
      • AWS Monitoring & Observability Services
    • Candidates should also demonstrate a solid understanding of AWS architecture, networking, security, scalability, resilience, and reliability best practices.
  • Kubernetes & Database Administration
    • Applicants must have advanced experience operating and supporting production Kubernetes environments, including cluster operations, troubleshooting, networking, performance optimization, and scaling. Strong PostgreSQL expertise is also required, particularly in database monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and operational support.
  • Incident Response & Automation
    • The successful candidate will have proven experience managing complex production incidents and driving operational excellence through automation. This includes:
      • Incident response and major incident management
      • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews
      • Service Level Agreement (SLA) management
      • Scripting and automation using Bash and/or Python
      • Automation of cloud operations, observability integrations, and recovery processes
