Business Analyst II

This Business Analyst II opportunity is suited to a technically capable professional who can lead digital and process improvement initiatives from opportunity identification through to solution delivery. The Business Analyst II will work in a business-facing environment, helping to refine requirements, support solution development, and drive user adoption through training and engagement.
This position sits within an operational business environment focused on digital improvement, analytics enablement, and process efficiency. The role supports business unit collaboration and works closely with leadership and digital resources to progress improvement opportunities into delivered solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead digital and process improvement opportunities through the pipeline from initial opportunity through to solution delivery.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership to document value cases, refine requirements, and collect user feedback.
Support data foundation initiatives that enable self-service analytics.
Develop and maintain visualisations and reports using Power BI.
Deliver training and user support for common productivity tools to improve digital fluency across the business.
Develop and lead a digital citizen community and coordinate with wider digital support resources.
Recommend practical improvements that simplify work and make digital processes more efficient.
Step in to lead initiatives and contribute to longer-term strategic planning where needed.
Requirements:
2–4 years of relevant experience.
Technical expertise in digital platforms used for productivity and data automation, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, AI Builder, VS Code, and GitHub.
Experience with data management tools such as SharePoint and Azure file share.
Experience with opportunity or portfolio management tools such as Azure DevOps.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand how technology supports people and organisations.
Ability to learn new tools independently and apply fit-for-purpose solutions.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, data analytics, business information systems, or business management.
Knowledge of coding.
Familiarity with Sample Manager.
