    This opportunity sits within a company operating in the offshore and energy sector, supporting procurement activity for oil and gas projects. The role focuses on RFQ preparation, vendor evaluation, purchase order terms and conditions, and contract-related support to help deliver project requirements, timelines, and budget expectations. This position offers involvement in technically focused procurement work, including equipment, materials, services, warranties, and vendor performance review.

    Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related discipline
  • Required Experience:
  • Minimum five years of experience in procuring equipment, materials, and services for oil and gas projects
  • At least two years of experience in a procurement environment within EPCC projects
  • Experience supporting change, variation, or dispute matters during project execution and post-project phases
  • Required Skills:
  • Ability to analyse and prepare RFQs in line with contracting strategy, policies, and procedures
  • Experience evaluating vendor responses and supporting the issue of purchase order terms and conditions in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to manage deviations to purchase order terms and conditions while protecting commercial interests
  • Familiarity with technical terms and requirements related to FPSO projects
  • Knowledge of Malaysia Customs procedures
  • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail, with a strong commitment to compliance and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
