1. ABOUT LABA
Laba Holdings Limited is the umbrella landowner company of Porebada, Boera, Papa and Rea Rea in Central Province, Papua New Guinea, and operates a group of businesses across construction, logistics, training, technology and community services.
These positions form Laba's management team for a camp construction and services package on a major resources construction project in Papua New Guinea, for a 24-month term from contract award. Appointments are subject to contract award.
2. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Camp Services and Security Supervisor delivers guard rosters at site and camp posts together with catering, cleaning and camp housekeeping. The position holds the two service categories that the workforce experiences every day and that the client notices immediately when they slip.
3.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Build and run the guard roster across all site and camp posts to the agreed post schedule and manning, and cover absence without gaps.
•Supervise access control, gate procedure, patrols, incident reporting and the security log.
•Manage catering delivery: menu cycle, food safety, service times, dry and cold store rotation and stock control.
•Manage cleaning and camp housekeeping to the agreed frequency and standard, including ablutions, accommodation and common areas.
•Control camp consumables and imported dry and frozen stores against the landed-cost budget, and forecast reorder to the offshore procurement structure.
•Maintain food safety, potable water and waste management standards with M4.
•Manage guard licensing, vetting, uniform, radios and post equipment.
•Report weekly on manning, incidents, messing numbers and consumable burn.
4.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
•Six years or more supervising camp services, catering or a guard force on a remote or industrial site.
•Demonstrated roster management for a 24-hour post schedule.
•Food safety and hygiene competency for a catering operation.
•Fluent Tok Pisin and English.
•Sound standing to hold the security supervision role under PNG security industry requirements.
Desirable
•Both security and catering experience in the one career, rather than one or the other.
•Prior camp operation on an LNG or mining project in PNG.
•Former disciplined-service background.
