Job Title: Cathodic Protection - Program Coordinator
Duration: 12 months 
Schedule: 9/80 
Location: Kenedy, TX

This opportunity supports cathodic protection activities across pipeline and facility assets, with a strong focus on corrosion control, regulatory compliance, and field execution. The role offers involvement in planning, inspections, maintenance coordination, contractor oversight, and technical documentation within a pipeline integrity environment. This position is well suited to candidates with hands-on experience in cathodic protection systems, PHMSA-regulated assets, and field data collection.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cathodic protection, pipeline integrity, corrosion control, or related field operations.
  • Experience performing work on PHMSA-regulated liquid and gas pipeline systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with cathodic protection surveys, rectifier inspections, and field data collection.
  • Experience coordinating maintenance and repair activities for rectifiers, ground beds, anodes, test stations, bonds, and isolation devices.
  • Experience supporting inspections, surveys, maintenance activities, and regulatory documentation across pipeline and facility assets.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cathodic protection programme execution, including annual surveys, close interval surveys, interference testing, isolation testing, and system performance monitoring.
  • Ability to develop work plans, survey schedules, survey routes, and collect field data independently in remote field environments.
  • Strong documentation and records management capability, including maintaining accurate inspection results, maintenance records, and corrective action records within approved databases.
  • Ability to coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, integrity personnel, and third-party service providers to deliver field activities safely and on schedule.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and reporting skills, including preparation of programme updates, compliance reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic data management systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently throughout operating areas.

Required Certifications:

  • AMPP/NACE Cathodic Protection Technician (CP1) certification (Required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree.
  • AMPP/NACE Cathodic Protection Technician (CP2 or higher) certification (Preferred).
  • AMPP/NACE Corrosion Technician certification (Preferred).
  • Experience with CIS surveys, DCVG, ACVG, interference testing, and troubleshooting impressed current systems.
  • Experience with GIS, mobile data collection applications, and integrity management systems.
  • Knowledge of underground piping, facility corrosion programmes, and integrity management processes.
