Cert IV Signal Technician (Multiple roles)

Overview
We are currently recruiting multiple Cert IV Signal Technicians to support the delivery of major rail signalling works throughout Australia with a range of sector leading clients.

With projects spanning construction, renewals, commissioning, and maintenance, we are seeking experienced signalling professionals looking for their next long-term opportunity.

These are permanent positions offering annual leave, personal leave, and other permanent employment benefits. Hourly rates, roster structures, and project allowances differ between positions, resulting in varying total annual earnings depending on the opportunity. Locations-    
•    Brisbane and Logan Region
•    Sunshine Coast / Moreton Bay Region
•    Western Australia (FIFO from Perth) - 2:2 Roster
•    Greater Sydney – Sydney Trains SOC required
•    Adelaide (Favourable roster and EA)

Duration-    
•    Permanent, Full-time

Remuneration-     
•    Competitive hourly rates dependent on location, experience, and client requirements
•    Overtime, penalties, FIFO arrangements, and project-specific allowances may apply 
•    Total annual earnings vary but typically range between $170,000 - $250,000+

Responsibilities
•    Installation/maintenance of signal cabling & equipment
•    Build, mount, and commission location cases and associated signalling hardware
•    Install lineside signals, point machines, axle counters, train detection equipment, and control system components
•    Set up, test, and validate circuits according to signal design plans
•    Document inspections, repairs, and modifications for compliance purposes.
•    Ensure equipment is safe and meets electrical safety standards
•    Assist with construction staging, site setup, and safe work preparations

Required Experience
•    Cert IV Rail Signalling (from company such as TfNSW, Competency Australia, HRD, TAFE WA, Queensland Rail)
•    A Grade Electrical Licence
•    RIW Card
•    Drivers Licence
•    Must be able to pass Cat 1 Medical
