The CMMS Coordinator is a technical role supporting maintenance operations in a plant environment, with a focus on SAP PM data quality, maintenance coordination, and reliable reporting.

This company operates in a maintenance-focused environment where SAP PM supports plant performance, maintenance planning, and ongoing operational reliability. The CMMS Coordinator will work closely with maintenance and planning teams to support accurate data, effective scheduling, and reporting.
About the Role
The purpose of the CMMS Coordinator is to coordinate the use and development of the SAP PM Computerised Maintenance Management System within the business. This position supports the integrity of SAP PM master data, maintenance reporting, and the interface between maintenance teams and the CMMS function. The CMMS Coordinator also supports planning activities and helps strengthen maintenance capability through technical support and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development of, and subsequent use of the SAP PM Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) process within the business.
- Coordinate the implementation of SAP Project Management (PM), including definition, blueprint review and validation, checking data, and assisting with further development of the system capability.
- Ensure SAP Project Management master data quality and integrity before upload.
- Assess the impact of data changes to maintenance programs and processes and establish interfaces with Asset Register, RCM and RBI Teams.
- Act as the focal point for all maintenance end user support.
- Appraise change requests and carry out actions as requested by the originator, as per ERIP procedures.
- Maintain notifications so that all data changes are recorded and status updates are completed.
- Manage change notifications to ensure priority and dates are met.
- Notify the Supervisor when data anomalies are found in the CMMS.
- Assess the impact of data changes to the Operations maintenance process and maintenance programs before changes are carried out.
- Run weekly maintenance performance reports and report through maintenance supervisors where KPI’s are met and where areas of concern exist.
- Identify and propose improvements to data quality in SAP-PM to support business excellence.
- Assist the maintenance and planning Team Lead to manage the local data change process.
- Facilitate the interface between maintenance and production teams and the CMMS team to ensure correct and accurate data within the CMMS.
- Provide data for reporting maintenance performance (KPI reporting).
- Ensure accuracy of SAP PM data to support regular reporting.
- Support the planning team with daily work order processing and scheduling.
- Participate in the development of the organisational capability of the maintenance-planning department, including mentoring Angolan employees.
- Maintain regular interface with Maintenance Superintendents to ensure CMMS supports all business activities.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in SAP PM Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) process.
- Experience with SAP Project Management (PM).
- Ability to check data, support master data quality, and maintain data integrity.
- Experience supporting maintenance planning, work order processing, scheduling, and maintenance performance reporting.
