Airswift is searching for a Commercial Manager to join a leading organization within the manufacturing and construction materials sector in Jamaica.
This is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving sales growth, trade marketing initiatives, business development, and overall commercial performance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership while leading a high-performing sales organization and expanding market presence across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Lead sales, trade marketing, and business development activities.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, channels, and partnerships.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and key stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to drive business decisions.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, production, and product management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, preferably within paint, building materials, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing budgets.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.
