Airswift is looking for a Construction Coordinator to work for a major O&G company in Pasadena, TX, for a 2 years assignment.
This opportunity supports construction projects and turnarounds across North America, with responsibility for coordinating field activities from planning through completion. The role is suited to candidates with experience in construction coordination, welding activities, critical lifts, and Primavera P6 within a safety-focused industrial environment. This position offers broad project exposure, regular stakeholder interaction, and the chance to contribute to complex site delivery and operational performance.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in construction coordination or project management
- Experience managing critical lifts and other crane activities
- Experience managing welding activities
- Experience supporting projects and turnarounds across multiple sites
- Experience estimating field construction activities, including workforce requirements
Required Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, complete job walks, and perform material take-offs
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Knowledge of Primavera P6, including interpreting schedules, managing priorities, and providing daily updates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage field activities and present updates to senior management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong focus on site safety and ability to promote a positive safety culture in the field
- Ability to travel extensively in support of project delivery
Required Certifications:
- Valid TWIC card
- Ability to pass DISA drug screening and background checks, or similar screening programmes
- Passport for entry to Canada, or ability to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications:
- Primavera P6 is strongly preferred
- Location in or around Pasadena or the Houston area
- Location near project sites in Louisiana, Texas, or California
