Job Title:

 Construction Methods Engineer
Duration: 12 months’ renewable
Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands



This opportunity focuses on implementing and optimising construction methods, standards, best practices and technical know-how to support project planning, engineering and execution. The role offers the chance to contribute to construction methodologies, constructability, efficiency, quality and safety across complex engineering activities. This position is well suited to candidates with strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, HSSE regulations and construction management tools.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver construction methodologies tailored to project requirements, taking account of materials, site conditions, project requirements and schedule.

  • Implement and optimise construction methods, standards, best practices and technical know-how to improve efficiency, quality and safety.

  • Address and resolve construction challenges, applying constructability principles to identify effective solutions.

  • Provide technical expertise on construction techniques to project and site teams to support the use of best practices.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of construction methods, changes, outcomes and lessons learned to support future reference and continuous improvement.

  • Participate in department improvement programmes through cross analysis, workshops, reporting and the development of construction methods standards.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Management, or a related field (Required).

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in construction-related work environments (Required).

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of construction techniques and materials.

  • Knowledge of HSSE regulations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

  • Ability to apply constructability principles to practical construction challenges.
