Airswift is searching for a Construction Project Manager to join a leading technology-driven organization involved in the development and delivery of commercial infrastructure projects in The Bahamas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional to lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day management of construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.

• Coordinate contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reporting.

• Oversee procurement activities, contractor selection, bid evaluations, and contract administration.

• Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans when required.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, permits, environmental requirements, and safety regulations.

• Manage project cost controls, change orders, invoicing, and budget forecasting.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and construction best practices are maintained.

• Support project closeout activities, including commissioning, punch lists, occupancy approvals, and final handover.

• Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience managing construction projects.

• Proven experience delivering commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, residential, or industrial developments.

• Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract management.

• Experience managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.

• Knowledge of permitting processes, construction regulations, and health & safety requirements.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools.
