Airswift is looking for a Construction Site Lead to work for a major O&G company in Hopkinsville, KY, for an initial 12-months assignment.
 

This opportunity sits within a refinery and chemical complex environment and focuses on leading site safety, construction execution, fabrication, hookup, and mechanical completion activities on major capital projects. The role offers the chance to work closely with project teams and contractors to drive safe performance, resolve construction issues, and support delivery in line with project objectives and contract specifications. This position is well suited to professionals with strong construction planning, completions, and site leadership expertise.

Required Education:

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a Technical degree

Required Experience:

  • Prior experience in-field construction planning, execution, and completions
  • Prior site experience within construction activities
  • Past experience in a site leadership role on a major capital project

Required Skills:

  • Ability to lead on-site safety awareness and promote safe performance among contractors and project team members
  • Experience overseeing fabrication, construction, hookup, and mechanical completion activities
  • Capability to coordinate contractor and subcontractor interfaces with operational and project stakeholders
  • Ability to monitor contractor performance, identify deficiencies, and support corrective action implementation
  • Knowledge of construction planning deliverables, detailed plans, procedures, and contract specification compliance
  • Experience maintaining verification processes for mechanical completion
  • Familiarity with construction systems, tools, best practices, and materials management processes used at site
  • Ability to report progress, performance, issues, and challenges to project leadership
  • Experience supporting change requests in line with management of change requirements
  • Strong coordination skills across business services, contracting, materials management, and execution-stage interfaces

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel to project sites domestically and overseas
