Job Title: Construction Subcontract Manager
Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: Full-time, 5.5 days per week
Location: Talacre

This opportunity offers the chance to support complex EPIC project activity within the energy and infrastructure sector, with a focus on Mechanical Work, Buildings, and E&I works. The role is centred on subcontract administration, commercial management, change control, and forecast analysis across technically demanding construction scopes. This position would suit a professional who can operate effectively in offshore facilities, industrial plants, or other complex construction environments while helping drive project delivery and commercial performance.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Previous experience within offshore facilities, industrial plants, or complex construction projects
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas or wider energy sector
  • Experience supporting subcontract management, including commercial administration and close-out activities
  • Experience reviewing progress payments, variations, claims, and cost impacts linked to project delivery

Required Skills:

  • Strong subcontract administration and subcontract performance management capability
  • Ability to lead Subcontract Engineers and Administrators within a project environment
  • Commercial awareness across extra works, unit prices, claims, back charges, liquidated damages, and subcontract close-out
  • Ability to analyse Site Technical Queries, Site Instructions, and Deviation Requests to determine cost impact
  • Negotiation skills to align pricing and commercial outcomes with subcontractors
  • Capability in change management and forecast analysis
  • Ability to support project management teams in identifying variations and claims with programme and cost implications
  • Strong communication skills for managing letters, notices, and subcontract correspondence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to contract management activities
