2 years Fixed Term Contract | Perth Based

Perth Airport Project

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team on a 2?year fixed?term contract supporting project delivery across construction and engineering environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong capability in contract administration, negotiation and commercial support, who can operate confidently across bids, tenders and live project execution.

About the Role

In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring effective contract governance, compliance and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with Project Managers, senior leadership, legal practitioners and external stakeholders to ensure contracts are negotiated, administered and delivered in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate contracts during bid and tender stages.
  • Establish contract terms and conditions with head contractors in line with company guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing subcontract packages.
  • Complete contract reviews and provide commercial advice to the business and Project Managers.
  • Provide contract support during project setup and execution.
  • Develop and maintain template contract notices (Variations, EOTs, delays etc.).
  • Prepare and manage contract notices throughout project delivery.
  • Monitor existing contracts and advise on compliance and legal obligations.
  • Liaise with internal and external legal practitioners as required.
  • Identify and communicate contractual risks to Senior Management.
  • Attend key meetings locally or interstate to support contract discussions.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualifications in Law or demonstrated industry experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in project delivery or construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of contract law relating to construction contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer contracts with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, suppliers and legal practitioners.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
