One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Contracts Lead II to work on a 1-year assignment in their facilities in Spring, TX.
Summary: This opportunity focuses on managing a portfolio of agreements and new procurement requests to support the efficient purchase of goods and services. The role offers exposure to contract negotiation, contract management, supplier performance monitoring, and procurement process improvement, with a strong emphasis on business value, on-time delivery, and cycle time. This position will suit candidates with strong experience in procure-to-pay activities, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder relationship management within a technical procurement environment.
Required Experience:
- Experience managing agreement portfolios and new procurement requests across the full purchasing lifecycle.
- Experience negotiating contract pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers while working closely with internal stakeholders.
- Experience handling complex contracts or operating with strong business knowledge in a senior procurement, specialist, or contract management capacity.
- Experience monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues, and supporting contract compliance and utilisation.
- Experience identifying business value opportunities and contributing market intelligence to category or commercial strategy discussions.
