A leading EPCM is seeking mid-level Control Systems Engineer to join their Brisbane team on an initial 12?month casual contract to work on a number of sustaining capital resources projects
The Role
You will be working with a team to provide support across multiple mining-related projects, focusing on designing, commissioning, and SCADA-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, program, and commission control systems
- Plan, coordinate, and technically support FAT/SAT activities and go?live readiness.
- Manage WHS obligations and risk assessments for assigned tasks, including FAT/SAT-related risks.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment & delivery
You will possess
- Approximately 3-8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience with Rockwell PLC platforms (RSLogix / Studio 5000), Schneider PLC platforms (Unity Pro / EcoStruxure) and SCADA systems (Citect, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware)
- Electrical design capabilities (e.g., schematics, panel design, or power systems) are highly desirable
- Only candidates with full working rights in Australia will be considered (AU Citizen, PR, or Valid Work Visa Holders)
