Job Title: Corporate Affairs Specialist – Executive Support
Duration: 6 months initially, with the possibility to extend
Schedule: 5/40 – Office based
Location: Washington, DC, USA

This opportunity supports a global Corporate Affairs & Communications function, combining executive support, office operations, stakeholder coordination, and event delivery in a fast-paced Washington, DC environment. The role will focus on complex calendar management, travel coordination, budget tracking, vendor management, and governance support while helping to deliver executive visits and high-profile engagements. This position offers broad exposure across corporate affairs, communications, compliance support, and operational delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience in operations management or executive support roles
  • Experience managing complex schedules across global time zones for senior leadership
  • Experience supporting governance standards and compliance-related processes in a high-volume environment
  • Hands-on experience monitoring budgets, managing vendor billing, and providing budget analysis to support decision-making
  • Experience overseeing office facilities, service vendors, and workplace technology or maintenance coordination
  • Proven experience planning and delivering executive visits, key events, and stakeholder engagements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Concur, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to research, compile, proofread, edit, and prepare briefing materials and presentations
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain process discipline in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity
  • Strong judgement, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously while recognising when guidance is needed
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a demanding workload effectively
  • Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting principal-level engagements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Political Science, Public Affairs, or a related field
  • Post-secondary qualification in communications, event management, operations, or another relevant field
  • Experience in a corporate affairs or government affairs context
