Job Title:

Customer Service Rep II


Duration:

12 months with possibility of extension 


Schedule:

Rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required


Location: 

Midland, TX

This opportunity is based in a control room and call centre environment where the successful candidate will play a key part in monitoring alarms, handling incoming calls, coordinating dispatch activity, and maintaining accurate incident documentation. This position is well suited to someone who can remain composed in high-pressure situations, communicate clearly, and manage multiple operational priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to operate computers, telephones, radios, monitoring systems, and other communication equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands.

  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies or other high-pressure situations.

  • Ability to follow written procedures, policies, and escalation protocols.

  • Professional demeanour, strong customer service skills, and sound judgement when handling confidential information.

  • Excellent communication, active listening, situational awareness, critical thinking, teamwork, and coordination.

  • Incident documentation, stress management, computer proficiency, and professionalism in a fast-paced operational setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a call centre, control room, security operations centre, dispatch centre, customer service, or similar environment.

  • Experience with alarm monitoring, access control, dispatch, or incident management systems.

  • Experience using two-way radios or other professional communication systems.

  • Previous emergency dispatch or security operations experience.

  • Basic knowledge of incident reporting and emergency response procedures.

  • CPR, First Aid, security, dispatch, or other relevant certifications (Preferred).
