Job Overview:
This role is focused on document processing, scanning, indexing, routing, and quality assurance within a land services environment, supporting the accurate management of physical and digital records. The Data Analyst I - Scanner/Indexer will play an important part in maintaining document workflows and enterprise content management processes. The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, preparing, scanning, boxing, and routing physical items received through internal and external delivery channels. The role also supports indexing, routing, and quality control of electronic documents generated through business processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing incoming documents
- Preparing physical documents for scanning
- Scanning physical documents
- Indexing and quality assurance of digital scans
- Processing documents for electronic routing
- Supporting document tracking and archiving activities
- Assisting Uncon Land and Land Services teams with document management tasks in the enterprise content management system
The Data Analyst I - Scanner/Indexer will be expected to work with moderate supervision while managing multiple requests and tasks in an organised and efficient manner. The role requires clear communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Required skills and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of clerical or general office experience
- Good clerical skills with strong attention to detail and precision
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- In-depth knowledge of land data types
- Ability to search internal and external database systems to identify legacy data and records not yet uploaded to an enterprise content management system
- Familiarity with regulatory agency databases, DrillingInfo, and county digital record sites
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and tasks effectively
- Good communication skills with the ability to share clear, accurate, and concise information
- Ability to identify process improvements and procedural changes to support business needs
Preferred background:
- 3+ years of administrative support experience in oil and gas land functions
- Oil and gas industry experience
