Role Overview:
The Workplace operations analyst is accountable for ensuring that workplace services, environments and colleague experience enable Day 1 readiness and business continuity for the separated entity, while maintaining health, safety and security standards during transition.
The role plays a critical part in disentangling shared workplace services, standing up fit for purpose standalone workplace operations, and supporting colleagues through change, uncertainty and physical transitions associated with separation.
This role operates at the intersection of Workplace, Real Estate, P&C, IT, Security and the Separation PMO / EY SMO, translating separation strategy into delivered, operational workplaces.
The role sits within the Separation Programme delivery structure, working closely with:
- Separation PMO / SMO (e.g. EY)
- Workplace & Our Workplace teams
- Real Estate & Occupancy Planning
- P&C (Change, People Experience, Workforce)
- IT / Digital Workplace
- HSE, Security & Risk
- FM providers and external vendors
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Transaction Management: Leads the strategy for all transactions and negotiations involving the acquisition, disposition, or renewal of Our Client’s properties (purchased, sold, leased, or otherwise), ensuring alignment with Our Client’s strategic objectives.
- Executive Client Relationships: Engages with senior leadership across Workplace and the business to provide strategic advice and guide real estate decisions, acting as a thought partner and subject matter expert. First point of escalation on matters relating to Real Estate Transactions
- Strategic Partnerships: Manage relationships with key brokers, real estate transactions suppliers, consultants, and agents to ensure value for money, share lessons learned, and implement industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with real estate transactions to protect Our Client’s interests.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with internal stakeholders and Vested partners to ensure alignment and successful transaction execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Promotes a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned from transactions and integrating them into future strategies.
- Sustainability: Champions Our Client’s NetZero Sustainability targets by adhering to necessary contributions required through the real estate procurement process to achieve ambition?
Deliverables
- Strategic Planning and Market Analysis: Develops transaction strategies aligned with Our Client’s goals and instructs market research to identify opportunities and risks.
- Governance and assurances: Oversees the preparation, socialization, endorsement and submission of all Real Estate Transactions business cases for approval.
- Compliance: Ensures all transactions (office and non-office) follow regulations and standards, secures necessary approvals, and adherence to governance measures to avoid financial, reputational and ethical risk.
- Financial Oversight and Reporting: Oversees tracking and reporting against key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transaction costs/ efficiency and cost savings, benchmarking against market standards and return on investment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field
- Proficiency in English, BM & Mandarin
- Must have knowledge of data privacy laws and processes (PIA, ROPA, consent, data subject rights)
- Must have technical skills - Experience with OneTrust or similar privacy tools
