Job Title: DCS Technician III
Duration: 1-3 years
Schedule: 8-10 hours per day (flexible)
Location: Sabine Pass, Texas

This opportunity focuses on monitoring DeltaV diagnostics, stewarding maintenance follow-up activity, and supporting control system reliability within a major LNG and pipeline operating environment. The role offers the chance to work across distributed control systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities while contributing to safe and efficient plant performance. This position is well suited to candidates with strong industrial controls expertise and experience in regulated process facilities.

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience at Level III within an industrial controls or DCS-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience in LNG facilities or other relevant process and facilities environments.
  • Operations experience within a regulated industrial setting.
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing distributed control systems to support operational reliability.
  • Background working across office and site-based activities, including support for installation and commissioning.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including monitoring, configuration, diagnostics, backups, and updates.
  • Ability to troubleshoot control system hardware and software and support integration with plant operations.
  • Capability to respond to alarms, manage maintenance follow-up activity, and help optimise control processes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgement, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, projects, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to process safety, personal safety, environmental stewardship, permit-to-work requirements, management of change, and accurate documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AMS Optics experience.
  • Experience in natural gas, petrochemical, pipeline, terminal, heavy industrial, or other regulated operating environments.
