An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Digital Communications Advisor to join a fast-paced Corporate Affairs team within a major energy organisation. This is a hands-on role for a communications professional who thrives on creating engaging digital content, managing social media channels, and delivering impactful communications across web and digital platforms.
You'll work closely with senior leaders and corporate affairs professionals to bring communication strategies to life through compelling content, digital campaigns, and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow social media channels across platforms including LinkedIn and Meta.
- Plan, schedule and publish engaging organic content while maintaining brand consistency.
- Create, update and maintain website content, landing pages and digital assets through CMS platforms.
- Produce high-quality digital content including copywriting, graphics, video content and social media assets.
- Support internal stakeholders with digital publishing and CMS-related queries.
- Coordinate external agencies and creative partners, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to brief.
- Monitor social channels and support community management activities.
- Track and analyse digital performance, providing clear insights and recommendations through reporting dashboards.
About You
You are a creative and digitally savvy communications professional who combines strong content creation skills with technical digital expertise.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Meta.
- Strong CMS and web publishing experience.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), digital tracking and performance measurement.
- Excellent copywriting, content development and storytelling skills.
- Experience creating visual assets using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic video editing and content production capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
- Presenting digital performance insights to non-technical audiences.
- Managing agencies and external suppliers.
- Understanding of brand governance, reputation management and compliance requirements.
- Exposure to advocacy, issues management or crisis communications.
- Familiarity with AI and marketing automation tools.
- Photography and videography experience.
