About the Role:

Document Controller is responsible to support a major offshore project during the construction phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling project documentation, ensuring documents are accurate, up to date, and distributed to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner. This role plays a critical part in maintaining document integrity, revision control, traceability, and accessibility while ensuring compliance with project document control procedures, contractual requirements, and quality management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing Master Document Register (MDR) and associated IM work as required by the project.
  2. Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, procedures, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
  3. Register, track, and control document revisions using the project's Document Management System (e.g., ASSAI, SharePoint).
  4. Ensure all documents comply with project document numbering, revision control, and quality requirements.
  5. Process incoming and outgoing transmittals, ensuring timely distribution to all relevant stakeholders.
  6. Monitor document status and ensure submissions meet project schedules and contractual requirements.
  7. Provide support and guidance to project teams on document control procedures and document management systems.
  8. Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure effective document flow.
  9. Assist during audits by providing document records and ensuring traceability of project documentation.
  10. Ensure confidentiality and security of project documents.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Record Management, Information Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Document Control, or QA/QC support within the Oil & Gas, Offshore, FPSO/FPU, Marine, or EPC industry.
  • Certificate or Professional Certificate on Document Control, Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with engineering deliverables (drawings, datasheets, procedures, specifications, calculations, vendor documents).
  • Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as ASSAI, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving.

Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with project stakeholders.About the Role:
