Airswift is looking for a Drafter II to work for a major O&G company in the Houston, TX, for a 3-months assignment.
About the Role
This Drafter II position plays an important part in supporting design and document control activity. The role is centred on accurate drafting output, the handling of redlines, and contributing to the wider technical workflow for the design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up redlines from Design Technicians in AutoCAD.
- Pick up redlines from MOCs to support Document Control.
- Carry out general AutoCAD work for the Design Team.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Drafting and 2+ years of Document Control.
- Knowledge of Drafting standards, methods, and practices.
- Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment.
- Must be able to work both individually and on a team.
- Strong work ethic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Required: AutoCAD (or equivalent).
- Required: Basic computer/PC skills.
- Required: Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Required: Worked in a similar capacity in a previous role.
