Airswift is looking for a Drilling Supervisor/Superintendent III to work for a major O&G company in the North Slope, AK, for an initial 12-months assignment in a 21/21 rotation.
This opportunity offers a senior-level position supporting exploratory and development well operations in a drilling environment with strong emphasis on safety, environmental performance and operational delivery. The role is focused on onsite drilling oversight, coordination of service company activity, cost control and operational reporting, while also contributing to drilling programmes, procedures and emergency preparedness. This position will suit candidates with deep drilling operations expertise who can manage complex situations and support efficient execution across rig and office interfaces.
Required Experience:
- Typically 10-15 years of experience in drilling operations.
- Experience providing onsite oversight on exploratory and subsequent development wells.
- Experience supporting professional and/or lead staff across several technical or functional areas.
- Experience resolving complex operational problems and ensuring operational plans align with business objectives.
Required Skills:
- Strong onsite drilling oversight capability across rig operations.
- Excellent safety and environmental awareness within drilling operations.
- Ability to ensure compliance with local regulations at all times.
- Capability to develop and implement drilling plans to optimise operational efficiency.
- Ability to respond to and control situations involving the rig and onboard personnel.
