Airswift is seeking a Drilling Support Vessel Superintendent to work on an outsourced contract , in Suriname, with a major Oil & Gas Company.
The SERVICES shall be performed in Paramaribo, Suriname offshore onboard the Drill Support Vessel and associated offshore locations.
Duration: 3-years, rotational 4/4 (4 weeks on/4 weeks off), based on seven (7) worked days per week, with twelve (12) hours of work per day
Expected Commencement date: TBD (target November, 2026)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide onshore and offshore supervision and coordination of Drill Support Vessel activities in support of the GranMorgu Development Project.
Act as the COMPANY focal point for the planning, preparation, and execution of vessel activities, as well as for the mobilization of personnel, contractors, and third-party equipment.
Coordinate all offshore COMOPS and SIMOPS activities across Marine, Drilling, Completion, Subsea, UFR, Field Operations, Geomatics, HSE, and Contractor functions.
Support vessel mobilization, operational readiness reviews, engineering assessments, risk assessments, and integration activities.
Act as the COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE onboard the drill support vessel and ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of marine operations.
Coordinate emergency response activities within the vessel area of responsibility and associated offshore operations.
Coordinate mobilization of personnel, ROV systems, lifting equipment, service companies and third-party packages onboard the vessel.
Review operational programs, risk assessments, lifting plans and readiness requirements before execution.
Support vessel integration, commissioning and acceptance activities and witness testing when required.
Monitor vessel performance and operational readiness while minimizing operational delays and non-productive time.
Ensure timely escalation and reporting of operational risks and issues
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience coordinating COMOPS/SIMOPS.
Valid BOSIET and offshore medical certifications.
Strong operational coordination and reporting skills.
Experience as a Vessel Superintendent or Client Representative on offshore construction/support vessels.
Offshore experience involving drilling, subsea construction, ROV, or marine operations.
