Dimension:
Manage post-delivery activities across multiple countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and India/UAE.
Where You Fit In?
- You will be part of the Supply Chain Support Team South-East Asia and will report directly to the Supply Chain Support Team Lead. The Supply Chain Support Team is a newly established organization within the Distribution Optimisation & Assurance (DOA) organization, providing support for road transport bulk fuel deliveries, with a primary focus on post-delivery activities.
- You will typically work five days per week in a hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance requirements to be agreed upon with your Line Manager.
- You will be responsible for post-delivery operational activities across Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, and India/UAE. Over time, the role will expand to cover all Order-to-Delivery activities that are not managed through TMP or transitioned to hauliers.
- Collaborate closely with fellow Supply Chain Support Team South-East Asia members to deliver targeted business value and support Road Transport operations across the region.
- Maintain strong working relationships with the Regional DOA Road Transport Lead and key Road Transport focal points within the supported countries and clusters.
- Interface regularly with Road Transport Contractors, as well as various Shell-owned, Joint Venture (JV), and Outside Supply Point (OSP) terminals, to support operational excellence and service delivery
What is the Role?
- Confirm product deliveries to customers and support product reconciliation through the Supply Chain Support processes, using IT tools in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process delivery shipments in GSAP in a timely manner ensuring subsequent process of invoicing can be executed and monitor gains and losses of road transport movements.
- Handle open customer disputes and quantity adjustment corrections in a timely manner as per SLAs.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings such as Mobility/Supply/Road Transport /FO to share team performance and feedback.
- Demonstrate good knowledge level of all the tools used in the team.
- Develop competence to act as GSAP professional and Super User to contribute to team’s flexibility.
- Embed CI including on root cause analysis as part of operational process improvement, in ensuring that non routine actions are kept to a minimum, and clear segregation on improvements needed by haulier scheduling
- Contribute in achieving operational targets through process compliance and competency building by:
- Assisting in training new staff
- Supporting and coaching team members to help solve operational issue
- Proactive monitoring and following up on process deviations and quality issues
- Analysing team’s KPIs
Special Challenges:
- Support projects to continuously improve team’s performance and efficiency via regular driver performance management (e.g. minimize driver mistakes, non-reported/wrongly reported changes, number of non-touchless shipments, retail corrections and other), controlling and improving depot data accuracy, KPI monitoring.
- Act as focal point and support implementation of new business scenarios (new business model, customers, depots, suppliers, data exchange between depots or hauliers).
- Coach, lead, help and motivate team members in ongoing operations and exceptional, non-standard situations.
- Close teamwork within the scope and in particular with Scheduling Team, Delivery Assurance Team and being a support in terms of ways of working and proper communication within other scopes.
- Process month-end closure under high pressure.
Professional competencies:
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Finance Operations will be an advantage
- Very good system knowledge: Excel / GSAP
- Proven good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

- Proven strong commercial mindset & external focus
- Excellent communication and partnerships skills
