Airswift is looking for an E&I Inspector to work for a major LNG company, in Corpus Christi, TX, for a 1 year assignment.
This opportunity is based at LNG facilities in Texas and focuses on inspection, quality assurance, and compliance across electrical and instrumentation installation activities. The role supports construction quality by verifying work against project specifications, electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, and applicable NFPA standards. This position offers involvement in a technically demanding site environment where safe execution and regulatory compliance are central to project success.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation inspections
- Experience inspecting materials, equipment, and construction installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Experience with electrical installations including switchgear, motor control centers, and electrical drives
- Experience overseeing installation of instrumentation systems including tubing, control instruments, and control valves
- Experience working with classified hazard area installations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working under pressure
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical inspection and instrumentation installation practices
- Ability to verify compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and schematics
- Strong focus on site safety and safe working practices
- Quality and compliance oversight within a construction environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- LNG experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Certifications related to NFPA 70 NEC code and NFPA 70E standards
- Experience with classified hazard area installation
