Airswift is looking for an Electrical Design Manager to work for a major O&G company in Freemont, CA, for an initial 6-months assignment.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and proven experience leading design initiatives within complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical design activities across assigned projects
- Oversee development of electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications
- Ensure designs meet all technical standards, codes, and safety requirements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, civil, and project management
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design engineers
- Review and approve design deliverables and ensure project timelines are met
- Support project planning, risk management, and client communication
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in electrical design and leadership/management roles
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards
- Experience managing design teams and coordinating across disciplines
- Excellent communication and project management skills
