This opportunity focuses on providing electrical engineering support for compressor station facilities across expansion and maintenance capital projects. The role works closely with project execution, operations, construction and external engineering teams to help ensure electrical design deliverables meet applicable codes, industry standards and company standards. This position offers exposure to project scope development, technical review, procurement support and field-based construction and commissioning activities within a time-sensitive project environment.
Required Education:
Engineering degree.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering.
Experience supporting facility projects, including scope development, schedule support, capital cost estimate input and execution planning.
Experience reviewing electrical design deliverables such as drawings, technical reports and material listing sheets.
Experience supporting construction phases and commissioning-related activities in office and field environments.
Required Skills:
Strong electrical engineering expertise related to compressor station facilities, electrical infrastructure and technical design guidance.
Knowledge of applicable regulations, electrical design codes, industry standards and company standards.
Ability to review vendor material quotations, support technical bid evaluations and contribute to material procurement activities.
Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, supervisors, operations, construction teams and engineering firms.
Strong problem-solving capability using standards, modifications to standards and previous experience.
Effective communication skills for explaining technical issues and impacts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineering designation.
Experience providing technical guidance to junior engineers or wider engineering teams.
