This opportunity focuses on overseeing the design of liquids pump station facilities for expansion and maintenance capital projects, working closely with third-party engineering firms and internal project teams. The role supports design quality, regulatory compliance, budget and schedule performance, and technical delivery across engineering, operations, construction, procurement, and commissioning activities. This position offers a technically focused environment with involvement in electrical design, design reviews, vendor evaluations, and field-based project support.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
Experience supporting expansion and maintenance capital projects for pump station facilities.
Experience reviewing and approving engineering design deliverables such as drawings, technical reports, and material listing sheets.
Experience participating in design review meetings with engineering, project management, operations, and construction teams.
Experience supporting field scoping, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Required Skills:
Ability to oversee electrical design for pump station facilities and ensure compliance with regulations, applicable industry codes, and corporate standards.
Ability to manage third-party engineering consultants to achieve quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
Capability in designing electrical components and interconnects.
Ability to review vendor material quotations, prepare technical evaluations, and recommend selections based on technical merit, price, and delivery.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to identify and communicate lessons learned and quality incidents on assigned projects.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritise tasks effectively.
Problem-solving capability through the use of standards, modification of standards, and previous experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working across office-based and field-based project environments.
