Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in water and wastewater treatment projects? Our client, a leading engineering company in the water sector, is looking for a motivated professional to join their growing team in Singapore.
- Develop electrical engineering deliverables including datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure project execution complies with specifications, budgets, applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Interpret and implement technical specifications into project deliverables.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL studies, technical reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, and recommend electrical equipment and system suppliers.
- Manage electrical change orders and ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for MCCs, VFD panels, motors, and associated electrical equipment.
- Collaborate closely with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, and Piping teams on project delivery.
- Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Support tender preparation, budgeting, and cost estimation activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably within water or wastewater treatment projects.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical Motors
- Motor Starters
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Electrical Equipment Installation & Commissioning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to continue learning and developing professionally.
- Willingness to travel internationally at short notice when required.
