Job Title: Electrical Planner
Duration: 6+ months
Schedule: Onsite, 5 days/week

This opportunity focuses on maintenance planning and reliability programme delivery within an oil and gas or petrochemical terminal environment. The role supports SAP S/4HANA work management, outage planning, scheduling, backlog control, and maintenance execution readiness, with close coordination across operations, maintenance, engineering, and technical teams. This position offers strong technical scope for professionals with planning experience in regulated industrial facilities.
Required Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience using SAP within oil and gas or petrochemical facilities.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and execution processes within maintenance and reliability environments.
- Experience developing work orders, job packs, outage plans, and look-ahead schedules.
- Experience supporting maintenance and inspection compliance reporting, including schedule compliance analysis and trend review.
Required Skills:
- Heavy working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, and execution procedures and best practices.
- Ability to create and maintain project and outage plans using planning software.
- Strong understanding of electrical maintenance planning.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work for efficient response, backlog maintenance, and cost control.
- Ability to coordinate with operations, maintenance personnel, supervisors, engineering teams, and technicians.
- Capability to identify material requirements and interface with vendors or supply chain teams as needed.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-oriented working skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and operate effectively with minimal direction.
Required Certifications:
- Ability to maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status (Required).
- Current and valid state-issued driver's licence (Required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Degree or similar.
- Prometheus experience.
- Experience with project planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Scheduling software definition and build experience.
- Experience working in a PHMSA regulated pipeline facility.
- Experience with gas compression and metering equipment.
- Experience with scaffolding, painting, insulating, heavy equipment operation, rigging/lifting crafts, welding, fabrication, and machining work estimation and planning.
- Current TWIC card in hand.
