About the Role
We are partnering with a leading electrical engineering and infrastructure services provider to appoint an experienced Electrical Services Sales Representative to support the growth of their service, repair and upgrade division across New South Wales.
This is a unique opportunity for a technically-minded electrical professional who enjoys building client relationships, identifying opportunities and developing practical solutions for customers across commercial and critical infrastructure environments.
Working closely with operations, estimators and field teams, you'll manage an established portfolio of customers while driving new business opportunities across electrical maintenance, repairs, upgrades, testing and replacement works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial and industrial customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across electrical services and maintenance markets.
- Conduct site inspections and engage directly with customers to understand operational and asset requirements.
- Develop solutions and prepare quotations for electrical repairs, upgrades and replacement works.
- Assess existing electrical infrastructure and make recommendations to improve reliability, safety and performance.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and actively manage proposals through to award.
- Build strong relationships with facility managers, property groups, asset owners and contractors.
- Collaborate with estimators and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports, proposals and supporting documentation.
- Represent the business professionally across customer meetings, networking events and industry engagements.
About You
- Qualified Electrician with a strong background in electrical services, maintenance or contracting environments.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing, business development or technical sales positions.
- Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, switchboards and power distribution assets.
- Experience identifying defects, recommending corrective works and preparing quotations.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously across a large territory.
- High voltage exposure or switching experience would be highly regarded.
