Electrical Specialist III is a technical on-site opportunity supporting electrical operations with a strong focus on powerline work. Role Context
This opportunity is based within the oil and gas sector at Kermit Haley Tower. The role supports site-based electrical operations and maintenance activities in a collaborative working environment alongside engineers, technicians, and other professionals. The position focuses on ensuring electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with applicable standards and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, with a focus on powerline infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to support electrical operations and maintenance activities.
- Diagnose electrical faults, implement corrective actions, and document completed work.
- Support project and maintenance work to meet required timelines and quality expectations.
- Ensure electrical systems comply with safety standards, codes, and company requirements.
- Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and other required safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical work, preferably including powerline systems.
- Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices.
- Availability to work on-site at Kermit Haley Tower.
