Job Title: Electrical Technician
Rotation: 28 / 28
Location: Offshore
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to maintain and operate electrical systems onboard an FLNG facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain electrical systems, including HV/LV switching, isolations, and emergency equipment
- Perform first-line maintenance and fault reporting to maximise plant availability
- Monitor equipment parameters, alarms, and system conditions
- Maintain CMMS records and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance history
- Administer electrical switch rooms and complete reports in line with OMS procedures
- Support safe work practices and environmental protection standards
- Assist with other maintenance tasks during night shifts as required
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical maintenance in petrochemical or LNG environments
- Certificate of competence for EX certified systems
- Familiarity with CMMS and OMS reporting systems
- Safety training and valid offshore medical certification
- Ability to perform electrical isolations and switching operations
Nice-to-Have:
- STCW ETO licence or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
- HV/LV Switching & Operations Certificate
- Experience on FPSOs or LNG carriers
- Electrical authorisation for offshore installations
