Job Title: Electrical Technician
Duration: Long-term assignment
Schedule: Full time / Rotational
Location: Offshore Senegal
This opportunity is based offshore and focuses on the safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems on an FLNG facility. The role will support plant reliability, equipment availability, and compliance through electrical maintenance, HV/LV switching, isolations, and CMMS reporting. This position offers the chance to work in a highly technical LNG environment where safety, accuracy, and operational discipline are critical.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical maintenance within petrochemical or LNG environments
- Experience working in offshore operations and maintenance environments
- Experience supporting plant availability through first-line maintenance and fault reporting
Required Skills:
- Ability to operate and maintain electrical systems, including emergency equipment
- Ability to perform HV/LV switching operations and electrical isolations
- Familiarity with CMMS and OMS reporting systems
- Ability to monitor equipment parameters, alarms, and system conditions
- Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation
- Knowledge of safe work practices and environmental protection standards in an offshore setting
Required Certifications:
- Certificate of competence for EX certified systems
- Safety training certification
- Valid offshore medical certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- STCW ETO licence
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
- HV/LV Switching & Operations Certificate
- Experience on FPSOs or LNG carriers
- Electrical authorisation for offshore installations
