This opportunity sits within the defence sector and focuses on transforming electronic prototypes into reliable, industrialised products for serial production. The role offers high technical scope across electronics industrialisation, testing and validation, IPC standards, LabVIEW and TestStand, with direct impact on product quality, repeatability and knowledge transfer. This position will work closely with engineering teams on complex electronic systems in a demanding, precision-led environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full industrialisation lifecycle from prototyping through production, assembly and testing.
Define electronic components and support specialised procurement activities.
Manage project schedules related to industrialisation activities.
Develop test equipment, including both hardware and software elements.
Design and maintain test benches used for validation and production support.
Lead and manage a team of 4 people.
Ensure compliance with IPC standards and manage non-conformities.
Carry out manual and automated testing activities.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Work closely with the engineering and design office, including on evolving or incomplete projects.
Train teams and support knowledge transfer to local and international colleagues.
Participate in technical meetings and internal or external presentations.
Contribute to certification and qualification activities for serial production.
Required Education & Certifications:
Degree in Electronics Engineering (Required)
Required Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in electronics industrialisation.
Experience leading technical teams.
Experience across prototyping, production, assembly, testing and validation of electronic products.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in power electronics, electronic design, assembly and wiring, and testing and validation.
Knowledge of ALTIUM for schematic capture and PCB design.
Good knowledge of LabVIEW.
Experience with manual and automated testing.
Knowledge of IPC standards including CID / CID+, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.
Ability to create electronic subassemblies and estimate prototyping requirements.
Technical leadership with a highly organised, rigorous and detail-oriented approach.
French language proficiency.
Technical English language proficiency.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Knowledge of TestStand (Preferred).
Experience in the military or defence sector is highly desirable.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or railway environments will also be considered.
Ability to work effectively in a complex and demanding environment requiring high precision.
Ability to quickly acquire highly specialised knowledge.
