Job Title: Engineering Analyst II

This opportunity sits within a data and systems strategy environment focused on data governance, engineering drawing migration, and asset information management. The role supports the accuracy, structure, searchability, and usability of engineering records, with direct impact on data quality and information governance across engineering and operations. This position offers exposure to large-scale migration initiatives, metadata remediation, validation activities, and cross-functional collaboration in a safety-critical infrastructure setting.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a relevant discipline within the energy sector.
  • Experience supporting large-scale engineering drawing migration, validation, and reporting activities.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Asset Information Management, Drafting, Technical Information Systems, compliance teams, and external service providers.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality tools.
  • Ability to inventory, profile, assess, cleanse, and remediate metadata, hierarchy, and classification issues within engineering drawing repositories.
  • Knowledge of pipeline industry standards and best practices for data management.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to support testing and validation of searchability and usability improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail in the context of safety-critical infrastructure data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using and reporting from pipeline asset management systems, GIS, or engineering document management systems.
  • Experience with SharePoint management and using PowerApps for forms and workflows.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Knowledge of master data management concepts and their application in asset-centric organisations.
