This opportunity sits within a major industrial project environment focused on Engineering 4.0, engineering data, and information management across the full project lifecycle. The role supports the definition, governance, quality, and handover of structured engineering information, helping to ensure documents, models, tags, and metadata remain consistent, traceable, and ready for downstream operational use. This company offers the chance to contribute to digital engineering improvement, conceptual data model development, and engineering information workflows in a technically complex setting.

Required Experience:

  • Experience working across the project lifecycle, from early engineering phases through to construction, commissioning, operations, and handover.

  • Experience contributing to engineering data or information management within major industrial projects.

  • Experience coordinating engineering data, documents, models, tags, and metadata across multiple engineering disciplines.

  • Experience supporting implementation and continuous improvement of engineering conceptual data models.

  • Experience working with engineering teams, document control, digital teams, contractors, and project management to maintain reliable information flows and high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills:

  • Strong engineering information management capability, including data definition, structuring, governance, control, and sharing.

  • Ability to define concepts, relationships, classifications, properties, and business rules required to manage engineering information and data.

  • Ability to translate engineering processes into data and information requirements and assess impact on data models.

  • Strong data quality focus, including conformity, consistency, completeness, traceability, revision control, naming conventions, and status codes.

  • Ability to support engineering data handover to construction, commissioning, and operations teams.

  • Capability to develop procedures, user guides, templates, and training materials related to engineering information management.

  • Ability to coordinate with 3D design CAD tools, digital engineering teams, and systems teams to maintain consistency between models, documents, and structured data.

  • Experience preparing reporting dashboards and progress indicators for engineering information status, quality, and handover readiness.

  • Knowledge of information storage, sharing, and archiving within appropriate data platforms and repositories.

  • Ability to contribute to the implementation of AVEVA tools within a digital engineering environment.
