Macaé or Rio de Janeiro for an oil and gas company specializing in the supply of subsea equipment.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with customers and potential customers to form good relationships and to obtain the necessary information to properly respond to RFQs, bid requests, etc.
Arrange face-to-face or over-the-phone business meetings with prospective customers/clients.
Review clients’ technical scopes of work and develop solutions adapting products, equipment, and service offerings to support the project requirements.
Review project technical documentation and develop exceptions and deviation based on companies’ capabilities.
Work with sales, engineering, projects, operations, service departments to estimate project costs and generate bid packages and quotations.
Prepare detailed project estimates showing expected costs and profit margins.
Work with vendors to get written bids/quotes/pricing on goods and services.
Log all quotations and follow up using standard practices.
File bids and quotations with the client within the allotted time frames.
Prepare sales reports of activities completed and pertinent project updates
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred. Experience as a project manager, budget analyst, and/or engineer in the oil industry or an equivalent type of operation with significant annual sales.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and industry or specialized magazines. Ability to respond to common questions or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Advanced English is mandatory.
