Airswift is looking for an Execution Planning Engineer II (Brownfield) to work for a major O&G company in Spring, TX, for an initial 12-months assignment.

This opportunity focuses on early project development for greenfield and brownfield upstream unconventional facilities and infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on brownfield verification, constructability, and execution readiness. The role supports practical execution planning before transition into project execution, helping to identify tie-ins, routing risks, shutdown requirements, and field constraints at an early stage. It offers the chance to work across engineering, operations, construction, permitting, and project controls to improve project outcomes and reduce rework.

Required Education:

  • BS degree in Engineering or related technical studies.

Required Experience:

  • Prior experience in project execution and planning activities.
  • Experience supporting early project development for facilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Background working with brownfield facility conditions, execution planning, and field-based project development activities.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to verify existing facility conditions, constraints, capacities, and opportunities for reuse.
  • Experience developing execution plans for well pads, tank batteries, facilities, flowlines, tie-ins, and related infrastructure.
  • Capability to develop detailed pipeline routes and identify constructability concerns, access needs, and execution constraints.
  • Strong understanding of redline P&IDs, plot plans, preliminary routing layouts, tie-in point identification, and field documentation.
  • Ability to identify execution risks, demolition needs, shutdown requirements, sequencing considerations, and field conditions affecting scope, schedule, cost, or safety.
  • Experience supporting early process safety risk screening and execution readiness planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering, operations, construction, project controls, procurement, and regulatory stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with upstream unconventional facilities.
  • Experience in brownfield verification, P&IDs, plot plans, routing, tie-ins, or field execution planning.
